“The Universe is Inviting You In,” Matthew C. Horne’s first solo project, picks up right where he left off in “A Massive Dose of Motivation.” This is the book where you’ll see what this young motivational phenom was born to do…..walk the masses to the doorstep of their best life possible! This book will introduce ANYONE to their inner-genius and greatness. When this masterpiece is unveiled, a collective sound of jingling keys will permeate the air, as the masses tell their old lives of mediocrity to TAKE A HIKE!--OSI reader views

Testimonial for author and motivational speaker  Matthew C. Horne:
Matt Horne is young, bright, and observant. Wise beyond his years, he brings a healthy dose of the HOLY GHOST, to motivational concepts and thinking. He reinforces the spirital nature of God, in all that we do or say. That in itself, is the most valuable lesson he shares with us as a motivational force, to be used in life's walk. --- Mark James, Design Specialist, Washington, Gas

Testimonial for bestselling author, publisher and poet Julius Kane:
Hello Mr. Kane, My daughter Michele purchased your book (Ten Things Every Black Man Must Do Before He Dies) at a book signing recently.  It caught my eye and I borrowed it from her and read it.  I found it entertaining, honest and you said alot of things that these young brothers need to hear.  Being a white woman that has dealt with "brothers" all my adult life, and someone that does prison ministry I would recommend your book highly.  Keep up the great work.---B. Harrison, Arlington, VA

Media Recognition for The Georgia Avenue Bus by Dr. Henri Edmonds

Washington Post Article January 14, 2007
At Amazyn Hair Design, one of 70 beauty shops along  four-mile long Georgia Avenue, Mary Jeffries, center, and Joyce Fowler flip through " The Georgia Avenue Bus," a short fiction about the people on the Avenue, as it often is called. The book was written by Henri Edmonds, pictured on the far left, a professor at Howard University.

Washington Post Article May  13, 2007
Featured in the "Our Picks" segment of the Washington Post's weekend spots and events not to miss each weekend. Henri Edmonds, author of The Georgia Avenue Bus, was featured as the Literary pick of the week.

"WASHINGTONIANS AND THE GEORGIA AVENUE BUS RIDE"
The Department of Liberal Studies, Southeastern University
  Fall 2006 Seminar Series |  November 15, 2006

“Henri Edmonds is a featured speaker. Professor Edmonds' lecture offers insights and ideas on the lives, struggles, frailty, humor, and tragedies of residents of Washington, D.C and the suburbs of Maryland.   She reports the common feelings of joy, despair, and uncertainty of hundreds of thousands of regular bus riders who narrate their common predicaments in the person of a single bus driver along Georgia Avenue.   Drawing from the story of the bus driver, the speaker describes the dynamics of what happens when a group of diverse people interact with each other when they are confined in a common space on a regular basis.”
